Plug plants are grown from a blackberry cutting. This cutting is made from high quality own checked and tested mother material. Besides this, meristem cuttings from the laboratory are also used. The cuttings are cut from mid-March to mid-June from the mother bed. The cuttings are manually cut to a length of 4-5 cm and immediately freshly propagated on a paper plug in a warm greenhouse. The plants are graded once or twice to create a uniform end product. Depending on the season, the plants grow out in 4-6 weeks into a rooted uniform blackberry plug plant. This blackberry plug plant is delivered in the tray in a box.
