TRAY PLANTS

Tray plants are mainly used for growing strawberries in glasshouses or on table tops. Tray plants are pre-programmed for production purposes. Trusses are evenly spread, which is an advantage compared to waiting bed plants. Tray plants are also capable of achieving a good start in hot summer conditions. Van den Elzen Plants only uses high-quality tips for our tray plants. Depending on the variety and the purpose of the tips, it is cut in June, July or August and planted in the trays. The cultivation of tray plants takes place both on outdoor tray fields and in greenhouses. The plants are packed and frozen in November and December, after which they are delivered from the end of December until the end of August.
